dignity village

Dignity Village was created to provide a safe and stable place for individuals in Indian River County as they work toward brighter futures. With the rising cost of living, even basic shelter can be out of reach. Dignity Village offers an immediate and flexible solution, removing barriers and creating a path toward stability.
More than just a place to stay, Dignity Village serves as a stepping stone toward long-term change. Residents who once faced constant uncertainty are able to focus on employment, health, and personal goals within a supportive and structured environment. Flexible payment options allow individuals to move forward at a pace that is both realistic and sustainable.
Through a partnership with TenantCloud, residents also have the opportunity to rebuild their credit while they stay, creating a foundation for future independence. This added step helps open doors to opportunities that may have previously felt out of reach.
Beyond housing, Dignity Village fosters a sense of community. Many who arrive have experienced isolation, but here they find connection, encouragement, and a shared commitment to growth. With supportive neighbors and daily structure, residents are able to build confidence and take meaningful steps forward.
As the program continues to grow, Dignity Village represents an ongoing commitment to expanding housing opportunities and creating spaces where individuals are not only housed, but supported in building a more stable and independent future.

1st street
The 1st Street location was The Source’s first affordable housing initiative and served as the pilot for this housing model in Indian River County. Over six years of operation, it has provided stable housing for 18 individuals, creating a foundation for what would grow into expanded housing efforts across the community.
As the first step in this approach, 1st Street demonstrated the impact that stable, accessible housing can have on individuals working to rebuild their lives. It offered not only a place to stay, but an opportunity to gain stability and begin moving forward.
Today, the success of this location continues to shape and inform future housing initiatives, serving as a model for growth and a reminder of how small beginnings can lead to lasting change.

family triplex
