Creative Coffee: Tuesday 10:00-11:00am
Weekly multi-format art instruction for of all levels of interest and ability. Clients are encouraged to express themselves regarding emotions or life circumstances that they may be experiencing with purpose to provide therapeutic and positive processing. Lead by volunteer accomplished local artists.
AA Meeting: Friday 10:30-11:30am
Weekly meeting of Alcohol Anonymous support group for recovering alcoholics. Lead by volunteer.
Ready 2 Read – Adult Literacy: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th Thursday 3:00-4:00pm
Weekly individualized instruction in reading, writing and speaking English with purpose of improving English communication skills at all levels including English as second language. Lead by volunteer.
Grief Counseling: 4th Thursday 3:00-4:00pm
Monthly individualized bereavement counseling for clients who have experienced a death of someone close, with the purpose of helping clients navigate the grieving process. Lead by VNA Bereavement Counselor.
Food Stamp/EBT, SNAP, Medicaid application and benefit assistance: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
Weekly individualized assistance with Food Stamps, EBT, SNAP and Medicaid applications, issues and questions with the purpose of facilitating client’s access to these programs. Provided by Treasure Coast Food Bank Representative.
Mobile Medical Clinic: 2nd Friday 1:00-7:00pm
Monthly visit of mobile medical clinic providing professional healthcare services to clients at minimal to no cost with purpose of improving clients access to medical services and health outcomes. Provided by VNA Mobile Clinic of Indian River County.
