MEMBER ADVISORY COUNCIL CREATED TO BRING IMPROVED SERVICES TO THE SOURCE

The Source recently started a Member Advisory Council to address challenges faced by our members every day. Our goal is to empower members and come up with life changing solutions for themselves and see those solutions implemented for the betterment of the community.

SUGGESTIONS:

• AFTER HOURS: The Source will increase staffing for the “after hours shift” from 5 days to 7 days a week. Staff is now present from 5pm to 9pm so members have a safe and comfortable place to spend time while waiting to board one of our two Dignity Buses.

• VENTILATION: Each bus has an air filtration unit that will be on and running every night.

• ELDERLY and DISABLED: The member council suggested elderly and disabled members board the bus first and have first choice of the lower sleeping pods. Now implemented, the culinary students and members then follow and board the bus.
