"The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives purpose and meaning." ~ Mitch Albom
Just this month we witnessed a miraculous change in the life of a chronically homeless alcoholic. John had spent more than ten years living in the woods and drinking to anesthesize his woes. He looked so hopeless that it caused many to write him off entirely. But today, John is saved and sober, housed and happy, thanks to a network of community partners willing to invest in him. He is even volunteering on a committee to help The Source create a new housing program.
At one time John lived an aimless existence in which he consumed community resources. Now he leads a purposeful life in which he is a contributing member of the community.
Your support of this ministry is helping us reach out to people like John right here in your community. We are so excited for what God is doing and continue to be genuinely humbled and thankful for your generosity and partnership. THANK YOU so much!
