2010

Thrift store resale ministry opened to benefit The Source and to be a "blessing to everyone."

A ceremonial celebration for the opening of our new store location at 1239 16th Street was held August 31st, 2010. Community and friends alike arrived for the unveiling of the beautiful and capacious site.

Heaven Sent is Vero's newest upscale thrift store.  It is open Tuesday through Saturday and presents previously owned furniture, household goods, curios, clothing, toys, and many more items that are truly “heaven sent.”  While revenue from the new thrift store directly benefits The Source, Heaven Sent is in the business to be a blessing to the entire community.

The Source serves all of Indian River County as a Christian outreach and resource center for people who are homeless or nearly homeless.  The ministry provides daily hot meals, emergency food, clothing, counseling, support groups, job referrals, housing solutions and a host of other services.

Heaven Sent is an extension of this ministry toward men, women and families who are in crisis.
