17-yr-old Stevie Donates Car To Source Client

“ The more you do for others without expectation of return, the more you'll get back from the most unexpected sources. “

 ~ Brian Tracy

If you have ever come by The Source, then you have seen Julie, sorting donations and seeing that our clients are dressing up nifty and sharp for their big occasion, whether it is a job interview or their daughter’s birthday party. She is keenly aware of their other needs as well.

“Tony never seems to catch a break. His entire paycheck would go to bills. When would he have the funding to purchase a vehicle?” Julie stated.

Unfortunately, with our continuing unstable economy, many of our clients are facing this discouraging reality - not able to put aside money for transportation needs like car payments or car repairs.

Julie’s son, 17 year old Stevie, saw the need and wanted to help. He was gifted a van by his uncle who passed away, so he decided to pay it forward. He chose to bless Tony, a Source client who had become a family friend.

Clients and staff gathered at The Source to witnessed the love of Christ manifest through 17 year old – Stevie. “No way!” Tony shouted. “You’re not really giving me this van!”

At The Source we help our clients restore their confidence and become productive citizens. We do this with your help. Thank you so much for faithful support!
